Это начало пересказа(ну что-то вроде,долго объяснять) для индивидуального чтения по английскому языку.Можете проверить ошибки в грамматике.Волнуюсь.Боюсь из-за этого пропускать.



In the story under the title “The catcher in the rye” Jerome Salinger tells us about an ordinary American boy Holden Caulfield; about his life, achievements and failures, about his relationships with teachers, friends and relatives; about his emotions and ideas.

Holden was in the sanatorium and some memories came to his mind and he recollected the storey which had happened last Christmas.

It began that day, when he left Pencey School. He was dismissed, because he flunked a lot of subjects.

He was not sorry about his expulsion, because he disliked this school.

Holden was ashamed in front of his parents, he didn’t want to come home and that’s why he went to New York and stayed at the hotel.

But unfortunately Caulfield had unpleasant accident connected with lift operator and the boy had to leave this hotel.

He was wandering across New York during three days, Caulfield went to the bar and drank a lot of alcohol; he had dates with girls and acquaintances, he watched silly films, skated and wasted money. He had only entertainments and he spent all money. Then Holden decided to come home, because he had not any choice (he could only be in the central park).

He was lucky, because his parents left home to visit their friends and only his younger sister Phoebe was at home. Holden take some money and went to his teacher Mr.Antolini to stay at night in his flat. The teacher was glad to see him and their conversation was very warm, but when the boy woke up at night and saw Mr.Antolini near himself, then he was afraid that he was prevent. After a few minutes Holden thought of to save the situation and left this house.

He decided to leave the city and to live alone, but when his sister decided to go with him then he stayed at home, because Holden understood all his responsibility.

Слово story сразу вижу направильно написано...

И еще я б сказала, the story titiled... И если уж ты начала, что the story tells, то уж тогда дальше будет - it begins the day when...

Nora_S,что касается сразу после того как история рассказывает начать я не могу..это особый вид перессказа,там такие правила.это саммари. ashamed of я знаю.там есть только после in front of.iset exprеssion//After a few minutes Holden thought of to save the situation and left this house.



Вот это не понял... --это тоже устойчивое выражение.
