Did Jean’s eyes sparkled with excitement or sadness? вобще если честно, я не понимаю зачем здесь определенный артикль, если есть притяжательный падеж?

13. What impressed Jean greatly? – She was impressed by actors. тут либо вопрос подогнать под ответ либо наоброт. если к вопросу то ответ надо лучше - actors impressed her greatly. а если под ответ ,то вопрос по-другому будет: What was Jean greatly impressed by?

14. Who was playing the leading part in the performance? – It was Martin Harvey. более точно было бы - Martin Harvey was playing.

вобще если честно, я не понимаю зачем здесь определенный артикль, если есть притяжательный падеж?

Вот вы сказали, и я сама запуталась, как так но вопросы это для меня и правда просто попаболь - я постоянно в них делаю ошибки, если не глобальные, то мелкие(

Всё страньше и страньше!, тут дело не в вопросах а в употреблении артикля. он указывает на предмет, а здесь получается масло масляное - то есть и притяжателньый падеж указывает на предмет и определенный артикль делает тоже самое. поэтому тут что либо одно.
