Задание на поиск ошибок в тексте.
Вопрос с предложением:
"No reporter dared ask any qustions, they could feel already the very unpleasent tension creeping around the proceedings."

Мисспеллинговые ошибки замечены, вопрос вот в чем:
dared ask или все-таки как модальный здесь и dared to ask?

вот если смотреть сюда, то получается, что следующее:
How dare you operate this machinery without proper training? expresses indignation at the action, whereas How do you dare to operate this machinery without proper training? is a genuine request for information.
When dare is used as a transitive verb meaning "challenge," only main verb forms are possible and to is required: Anyone who dares him to attempt it will be sorry.

No one dares disturb him.

hey, liar!, это понятно, мне интересным показался случай с разницей в значении, если смотреть на второй пример, то ваше предложение можно и с to ))
